Three Breezy Trees - Missoula, Montana

“Through three cheese trees three free fleas flew. While these fleas flew, freezy breeze blew. Freezy breeze made these three trees freeze. Freezy trees made these trees' cheese freeze. That's what made these three free fleas sneeze.” - from 'Fox In Sox' by Dr. Seuss (1904-1991)

Clematis or Truffula?, Missoula, Montana

In observing my yard transition through the seasons, I have to think that Dr. Seuss was a keen observer of commonplace plant life. I mean, who wouldn't immediately think, "A new species of Truffula tree!", upon seeing this clematis seed puff?
