Red Amaryllis 2, Hamilton, Montana
This is a different shot from yesterday - but the last one, I promise; I just couldn‘t resist the fleeting allure. They bloom big, seemingly out of the blue, & fade just as quickly. (Isn‘t there a song…"Amaryllis by morning…”? Ha ha.)

Red Amaryllis, Hamilton, Montana
In northern climes,‘tis the indoor amaryllis season. Enjoy while it lasts.
A big “thank you” to the Bitterroot Public Library for sharing these beauties, breaking up the winter drear.

Wilma Theatre View, Missoula, Montana
A view of the historic Wilma from the walking path on the far side of the river. Odd to think that the river used to go right up to the building, where Caras Park is now.

Backyard Still Life, Hamilton, Montana
Just a little still life I see coming in from the garage to the house after work each day. These are a few happy pocket mementos from travels & walks with friends & family.

It's always interesting what is waiting to be seen if you look with a slightly different perspective.

In the Pink, Missoula, Montana
I'm always amazed at how many people bike around Missoula when there's snow. One would think a sassy pink cruiser - with this dandy basket, no less - would bring happy thoughts to dispel some of the winter travel chill. That & Del's Place just down the street.
