Corner Perspective - Missoula, Montana

"...Not by appointment do we meet Delight
And Joy; they heed not our expectancy; But round some corner in the streets of life,
They, on a sudden, clasp us with a smile..."
- from The Bridegroom of Beauty by Gerald Massey (1828-1907)

    1. This is one of the coolest new infill buildings in our near-downtown neighborhood. Random blocks of Missoula streets intersect at angles, so this 3 story building not only mixes industrial and classic materials well, but this corner is actually a triangle point, with a triangular covered balcony on the upper floors. Brings to mind old triangle-lot apartment buildings seen in older cities - I think i noticed these in Vancouver's GasTown district; Toronto probly has some, too. I would SO live there, sipping coffee on Saturday mornings whilst watching the scurrying traffic below my treetop view!
