Morning Meadow, Missoula, Montana

A common sight in Montana neighborhoods; the wonder never ceases.

I've seen
wild turkeys, pheasants, racoons, porcupines, gophers, coyotes, deer, moose, Canadian geese, partridges - sometimes sharing pasture with livestock.  Driving to Bozeman this past weekend, we saw a herd of at least 20 antelope in a field bordering Interstate 90, which is by far the most I'd ever seen of these all at once.

Granted, the amazement sheen dulls a bit when one of the critters jumps into your vehicle, bumping up the grey hair count & shaving a year off your life - but they're still glorious at a bit of distance.
