Reminiscing Donkey - Missoula, Montana

“When fishes flew and forests walked

And figs grew upon thorn,

Some moment when the moon was blood

Then surely I was born….

…For I also had my hour;

One far fierce hour and sweet:

There was a shout about my ears,

And palms before my feet.”

- From the poem The Donkey by G.K. Chesterton (1874–1936)

  1. The donkeys were so lovely - and perfect timing for visualizing the donkey, Puzzle, in Narnia audio book "The Last Battle" I was listening to.
