Farm FriendS: Poetry Recitation - Livingston, Montana

Ahem...(tap-tap) Is this thing on?
Okay.
Today I will recite for you my FA-A-AVE-ourITE springtime poem.
Technically, it's still winter, but it feels pretty springy lately.
I feel pretty springy, so here goes!

"Roses are red,
Violets are blue;
But they don't get around
Like the dandelions do."
~Slim Acres (aka Harold A. Pickett, 1913-2009)

Thank you very much; it was a pleasure.

Maa-a-aaaah!

Farm Friends: Favourite Wise Quotation - Livingston, Montana

Hmm-hmm.
As a collector of wise sayings, I am pleased to share a thought today, in hopes that you can apply it toward the prosperity of your very own baa-aa-arnyard.

"The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese." - Willie Nelson

Thank you for your time.

Honest Equine Face - Missoula, Montana

""Look!" said Jill suddenly. Someone was coming, rather timidly, to meet them; a graceful creature on four feet, all silvery-grey. And they stared at him for a whole ten seconds before five or six voices said all at once, "Why, it's old Puzzle!" ... He was himself now: a beautiful donkey with such a soft, grey coat and such a gentle, honest face that if you had seen him you would have done just what Jill and Lucy did - rushed forward and put your arms round his neck and kissed his nose and stroked his ears." - from The Last Battle, The Chronicles of Narnia, by C.S. Lewis

Barn Storm, Missoula, Montana

"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" - The Bible, Matthew 6:26, (NIV)
