All In The Details - Missoula, Montana

"A mother is a person who, seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie." - Robert Quillen (1887-1948)

With our mum - "our" equaling seven - the portion mystery concerns roast chicken. We will never know for sure, leastways this side of heaven, if she TRULY preferred the chicken neck to any more, er, typical piece we variously offered (and I am always happy with just more mashed potatoes!).
Cheers to another day remembering the mum's we love, in all their glorious humanity!

Quiet Riot Of Colour - Missoula, Montana

"I know that if odour were visible, as colour is, I'd see the summer garden in rainbow clouds."

- Robert Bridges (1844-1930)

Purple Crocus Bud, Hamilton, Montana

The crocuses are just coming up in my garden!
I took a bunch of dandy photos while my lunch was cooking - & didn't even burn anything!
This is the first of a series you'll see this week.
