  1. Well I remember summer afternoons spent seated on rocks, dangling my toes in the glacial waters. I regret not paying attention to the colours and textures of an impressionist painting. Perhaps scenes like this inspired the heavy, multilayered brush strokes that bring such paintings to life.

    1. Amanda, i have pics of your tow-headed self in the glacial waters at Blodgett Campground. You were fully engaged in the setting - and I think the surrounding textures and detail and loveliness seeped into your soul pores to come through all these years later in your writing.
