Last Perfect Day - Missoula, Montana

The last perfect fall day before winter skimmed a snowy blanket over the valley floor early this morning.
The tippy-top of the mountain on the left is
University Peak, our Saturday destination at 5,806 feet above sea level. I enjoyed a nice nap on Sunday.

  1. I dream of doing that; climbing to the top of a mountain! This is stunning. Love the description in the link as well. I had a nap yesterday too even though the only 'hiking' I did on Saturday was around the kitchen;)

    1. I hope you have a sticky note in the back of your journal with the heading "To Do In Montana"! Make sure 'climb mountain' is on it - I would do the 3-hour hike again for the company!

    1. Glad you didn't say, "Once you've seen Mt. Kankejunga, they all seem small in comparison"!
Not that you would say that even if you did think it....
      :-)
